Marie Björling Duell made her debut on the WIM Series in France in 2019, but she is not a stranger to women’s match racing. Marie and her team were the top of the match racing rankings for four years from 2001 to 2004 and have five world championship silver medals, most recently at the 2009 WMRWC in Lysekil. Team Marie won the Swedish  wildcard for the 2019 Women’s Match Racing World Championship / Lysekil Women’s Match and will be on the hunt to win their first World Championship! When not racing Marie is the Director of the Swedish Sailing Federation.
