A crew that is brought together by ambitious, happy, and motivated match racing fanatics with the same passion and goal: to challenge the best female match racing teams. The team was created in the fall of 2015  when Sanna Mattsson and Sarah Rosell wished for a new sailing opportunity after quitting the 49erFX. They founded Swedish Women’s Match Racing Team, gathering the most motivated and happy sailors they knew.

The team had its WIM Series debut in Helsinki 2016 and had its Swedish WIM Series debut in Lysekil Women’s Match 2018 the same year the team was invited to all WIM series cups. Swedish Women’s Match Racing Team is currently 3rd on the Women’s World Match Racing Tour overall leaderboard for 2022 and looks to build on their performance and move up the rankings.
